GamesIndustry.biz signs new deal with Nordic Game 2007

GamesIndustry.biz is to be the primary media partner for this year's Nordic Game event, which will take place between May 15 - 16 in Malmö, Sweden.

Speakers already signed up to give talks at the event include SCEE's Paulina Bozek, ICO and LocoRoco developer Tsutomo Kouno and Masaya Matsuura, best known for his work on Vib Ribbon and PaRappa the Rapper.

As primary media partner, GI.biz - which is published by Eurogamer Network - will produce an extensive range of marketing and editorial support for the event, bringing readers all the latest news direct from the show floor.

"To have Europeâs leading games news and information organisation supporting Nordic Game 2007 is of tremendous value to us," said Jacob Riis, press manager for Nordic Game.

"Our goal is not only to produce the best possible event for the Nordic region, but also to attract the international games community. Our media partnership with Eurogamer Network is a major step towards connecting with the global industry."

Eurogamer Network's business development manager, Patrick Garratt, added, "We're delighted to have this deal in place with Nordic Game. The speaker line-up for May this year is already looking fantastic, and we're very proud to be so closely partnered with the burgeoning industry in the Nordic region.

"Anyone looking to get ahead in the highly exciting games markets of Sweden, Denmark, Norway and the rest of the Nordic countries simply cannot afford to miss Nordic Game 2007."

Now in its fourth year, Nordic Game is firmly established as the major games trade show for the Scandinavian region. Speakers for the 2006 event included Q Entertainment boss Tetsuya Mizuguchi plus representatives from EA, Ubisoft, IO Interactive and CCP.
