GamesIndustry.biz appoints new US editor

Site aiming to provide 24 hour news updates

GamesIndustry.biz has announced that veteran games journalist Mark Androvich has been appointed as the website's first US editor.

Androvich, who is based in California, will be responsible for producing the US-focused content on GI.biz. He will also manage the site's relationships with North American games companies.

Androvich has nine years of experience as a games journalist, most recently having been editor-in-chief of PS Extreme magazine. He has also written for PSM, Classic Gamer and Hardcore Gamer.

"This appointment puts GamesIndustry.biz in the perfect position to strengthen its position in the US market."
