GamesIndustry.biz to partner with GCDC 2008

GamesIndustry.biz has been unveiled as the exclusive media partner for this year's Games Convention Developer Conference, taking place from August 18-20 ahead of Games Convention in Leipzig.

As part of the partnership, the GamesIndustry.biz editorial team will co-produce the GCDC Daily conference magazine, which will feature news, interviews and information about the event, as well as content on the website in the build-up to the event.

"We are glad to have found such a renowned partner with GamesIndustry.biz. For us, the cooperation has a lot of potential, particularly with regard to the GCDC Daily", said Frank Sliwka, project director of the GCDC event.

"Once again we're really looking forward to another great conference in Leipzig," added Phil Elliott, editor of GamesIndustry.biz. "The conference has been steadily improving over the last few years and is today's most important event for game developers all across Europe - we're delighted to be working more closely than ever with the team."

Michael Capps, president of Epic Games, will be among the keynote speakers at the event, and more information can be found on the official website.

And as with any other event listed on the GamesIndustry.biz website, it's possible to see who else is attending via the GamesIndustry.biz Network by browsing to the Events section and selecting GCDC - then setting up meetings is just one click away.

Registration and membership to the GamesIndustry.biz Network is free, and open to anybody working within the games industry globally.

GamesIndustry.biz is the world's most read and influential games industry website. But don't just take our word for it!

"I really like the combination of analysis behind the news that GamesIndustry.biz provides. It taps into the brains and emotions of so many industry constituencies; Developers and Publishers of course, but also manufacturers, government and financial players. With so much volatility these days, it’s important to be fully advised as well as informed. Highly recommended!"
