GamesIndustry.biz Network passes 2000 active users

Since the launch of the GamesIndustry.biz Network, alongside the Nordic Game conference in May this year, over 2000 videogame business people are now using the community on a regular basis. That number includes:

  • 54 Chief Executive Officers
  • 26 Managing Directors
  • 23 Directors
  • 23 Producers
  • 26 Editors/Editors-in-chief
  • 13 Lead Designers
  • 12 Creative Directors

And since launch the Network has partnered with various events to allow attendees to arrange meetings in advance - including the Develop conference in Brighton and Games Convention Asia in Singapore - while ongoing improvements to functionality are continuing to be made.

Most recently the Company Directory has seen an overhaul, while GamesIndustry.biz Network parties are taking place during this year's London Games Festival and the Game Connection in Lyon - the latter as part of a link-up with the Nordic Game team.

Additional events will be announced in due course, with new tweaks and usability upgrades to follow in the coming months, while tickets for the GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair are now on sale.

Access to the GamesIndustry.biz Network is restricted to people working in the videogames business globally, and a special student and freelance version will be added soon.

GamesIndustry.biz is published by the Eurogamer Network, which also publishes Eurogamer.net and four other Eurogamer franchises across Europe.
