GamesIndustry.biz Network Bar announced for LGF

The Eurogamer Network is delighted to announce that as part of its ongoing commitment to this year's London Games Festival, the GamesIndustry.biz Network Bar will be open and available for meetings and relaxation across October 28-29.

The Bar, based in Corbet Place, The Old Truman Brewery, is in the same location as the GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair and will be sponsored by Ubisoft.

Access to the Bar is free for anybody that works in the videogames industry, and a special party will be held on the night of Tuesday October 28 offering free drinks - invitations will be sent out to everybody in the GamesIndustry.biz Network in due course.

Additionally the Bar is available to anybody wishing to arrange business meetings, which is also facilitated by the GamesIndustry.biz Network, throughout both days of the Career Fair.

"The GamesIndustry.biz Network Bar is going to fill one of the little holes from London Games Festivals in the past - it'll provide a comfortable and convenient place for people who work in the industry to come and relax, or take meetings, in a great environment," said Phil Elliott, editor of GamesIndustry.biz.

"The Bar demonstrates our ongoing commitment not just to the London Games Festival, but also to the continuing development of the GamesIndustry.biz Network, which has a blossoming membership and an exciting line-up of enhancements planned for the future."

Attendance to this year's GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair is free, with last year's event attracting over 2000 attendees across the two days. This year's event will build on that number with more exhibitors, panel sessions, and industry guest speakers.

GamesIndustry.biz is the world's most read and influential games industry website. But don't just take our word for it!

"GamesIndustry.biz is one of my starting tabs when I boot up... so it's always one of the first sites I see each day. It's good being able to catch up with what's happened in the US overnight, and in the UK before I'm awake first thing, and know that the stories will be accurate and thought out."
