GamesIndustry.biz launches free iPhone app

Leading trade network offers full roster of features to members on the move

GamesIndustry.biz is pleased to announce the launch of its free iPhone app, designed for industry professionals to access the leading trade site and its growing network of users.

The app will grant users access all of the site's news and feature content, as well as enable them to leave comments on stories. It's also fully compatible with Network features, so users will have access to the full directory of Network members and be able to add contacts and send messages via their iPhone.

"I'm really excited to launch the GamesIndustry.biz iPhone app - having all of our main news and network functionality in a streamlined and dedicated environment makes it easier to keep up with the key games business movements, wherever you are," said GamesIndustry.biz managing editor Phil Elliott.

"We'll continue to update and add new features to the app over time, and it's just one of a series of new additions and improvements we'll be making to our overall offering this year as we strive to make GamesIndustry.biz the most useful and authoritative industry destination on the internet."

The Network's industry event schedule is also built into the app, allowing members to edit and amend events and appointments.

Registration is required, as with the GamesIndustry.biz website, but existing account details will all work on the app, and once users are logged in, they'll remain logged in.

The number of members of the GamesIndustry.biz Network currently stands in excess of 22,400, spanning all areas of the industry from managers and marketers to designers and programmers. The app can be downloaded here.
