GamesIndustry.biz launches Event Scheduler

Network tool allows easy management of session attendance and meeting plans

GamesIndustry.biz is delighted to announce the launch of the Event Scheduler tool as part of the ongoing development of the GamesIndustry.biz Network.

The tool, which is free to use for all Network members, is being launched in partnership with the Nordic Game conference later this month, and will allow users to select and plan which sessions they wish to attend, as well as setting up meetings with other members who are attending.

Once done the schedule can easily be exported to Outlook- or iCal-compatible calendars, as well as printed hard copies, or simply referred to from any online computer as part of the user's Network profile.

"Speaking from personal experience, time management at industry conferences is crucial, and in the past sorting out sessions and meetings in advance has been an issue," said Phil Elliott, managing editor of GamesIndustry.biz. "This tool definitely makes it easier, bringing everything into one place, and we really hope that our members will find it useful."

Other special partner events for the Event Scheduler will follow later in the year, including GameHorizon in June.

To start setting up your time at this year's Nordic Game conference, simply log in to the Network, navigate to the Nordic Game entry on the Events page and click on the "Schedule my event attendance" link.

The GamesIndustry.biz Network is a business community for industry members only, with additional networks for freelance and student communities, which recently surpassed 5000 members across the world.
