Games Convention headed to North America

Leipziger Messe, the organiser of the Games Convention and the GCDC, has confirmed that it is planning to stage an event in North America.

It was not revealed where this event would take place, merely that it would be part of a continued international expansion for Leipziger Messe, who will be holding its second GC Asia in Singapore, over September 18 - 20.

"The concept is flexible and the network of the global games industry permits us to be active at different locations," said CEO Wolfgang Marzin. "After the Southeast Asian Games Convention, we are now focusing on the North American market."
