Gamer TV ends production

Gamer TV is to end production and will close its doors for the foreseeable future, after more than five years running.

The production company has been shut down by owner IMG, which has decided the brand is no longer part of its future plans.

"It's the end of an era but one which we'll look back on with pride," said Richard Wilcox, executive producer, Lighthouse Productions.

"We've built an audience and reputation worldwide."

Gamer TV produced shows across the world such as When Games Attack, Around the World in 80 Games and Gamemax.
