Gamecock plans UK office

Gamecock Media Group, currently based in Austin, Texas, has announced its intention to open a new office in the UK.

Gamecock CEO Mike Wilson told Next-Gen that the company planned to open its second office by the end of the year.

"It's mostly about us trying to give our developers the best deal we can across the PAL territories too," he said. "When doing a co-publishing deal, it's reall hard to do that."

Gamecock was founded earlier this year by Wilson, the former CEO of Gathering of Developers, and Harry Miller, the former president of Gathering of Developers.

Auran's Fury and Renegade Kid's Dementium will be the first two titles released by the publisher in North America.

Gamecock plans to publish its developers' titles in the UK and seek distribution deals for other Eurpean territories.
