Game Connection launches San Francisco Level Up program

Program to gives five start-up studios opportunity to exhibit at 2010 US event

The organisers of game business event Game Connection have announced the event's Level Up program is to be launched for the first time in San Francisco.

Level Up gives five start-up studios, less than two years old, the opportunity of an all-expenses paid visit to Game Connection where they will have the chance to meet with leading publishers and exhibit their products.

The program has been held previously for Game Connection's Lyon event, but this is the first year an American edition will take place.

To be eligible, companies must be independent and have not previously attended a Game Connection event. Entrants will be judged by an advisory board on their innovation, with those deemed the most exciting winning a trip to the next event, taking place in San Francisco from March 8-10.

The application process closes on January 25. More details can be found on the Game Connection website.
