FlatOut

Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

XENDEX, a leading European mobile games developer, and I-play, the world’s leading multi-platform casual games publisher, today announced an exclusive agreement for the release of XENDEX’s upcoming FlatOut racing title. Under the terms of the deal, I-play will market the game on an exclusive basis to its distribution channels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The deal follows XENDEX’s previous announcement of a multi-year licensing deal with UK-based publisher Empire Interactive. This previous deal covers Empire´s successful and popular franchises, FlatOut and Big Mutha Truckers.

Speaking about the deal, Achim Kürten, VP International Sales & Marketing at XENDEX, commented: “We are excited to partner with I-play in bringing the FlatOut franchise to the mobile market. I-play and XENDEX have worked together previously with great success on games like the multi-million selling FMX Freestyle Motocross series. With I-play´s strong Sales & Marketing power we look forward to build on this success and to establish FlatOut as a key and hugely popular franchise in the mobile space.”

“We are pleased at the opportunity to distribute the new FlatOut racing title across our distribution channels,” said Ami Ben-David, Senior Vice President, Oberon Media, I-play’s parent company. “This new partnership not only continues to strengthen our relationship with Xendex, but it also reinforces I-play’s success with racing franchises.”

FlatOut brings its destructive high octane motorised anarchy to mobile phones for the first time. Boasting four-wheeled mayhem, with 3 different racing classes, including 24 challenging tracks, weather and particle effects, a destructible environment as well as numerous power-ups for maximum destruction and the fastest lap times.

FlatOut mobile is due for release in December 2008.
