Fillpoint acquires Crave and SVG

Online distribution firm adds companies to boost "offerings in value and publishing"

Fillpoint, the California-based online distribution company, has announced that it has acquired fellow Newport Beach resident, publisher Crave Entertainment, from Handleman Company for an undisclosed fee.

Indianapolis-based SVG Distribution was also purchased as part of the deal, and both companies will continue to operate under their existing names in their current locations.

"The acquisition of SVG/Crave enables us to provide significantly expanded offerings in value and publishing both online and in-store," said Glenn Rockwood, president and CEO of Fillpoint. "We're excited about the new opportunities introduced by this acquisition, and we will immediately begin working to strengthen and expand the core SVG and Crave Entertainment Group businesses."

Crave is currently working on a number of titles, including Crayola Colorful Journey, Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection for next-generation consoles, and Monster Mayhem: Build & Battle.
