Fight Night remains UK number one

Fight Night Round 4 stays put at the top of this week's all formats chart, fending off a second EA Sports title, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, which debuts at number two.

Last week Fight Night Round 4 became the first boxing game to reach the top position in the all formats chart and it retains the lead for the week ending July 4. Despite a 35 per cent drop in sales, the title still manages to outsell Tiger Woods, which was released this week across all the console formats and utilising MotionPlus on Wii, by 1.64 to 1.

Tiger Woods' entry means EA Sports now has five games in the top 20 GfK Chart-Track chart, covering off boxing, golf, tennis, fitness and football.

Another EA title - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - also makes it into the chart this week, entering at number ten.

Publishers other than EA enjoying chart success include Activision with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which sees a rise in sales of 30 per cent take it from the number six position up to number three, and Ubisoft with Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, which makes its entry at number six.

Sales of The Sims 3 drop by 21 per cent taking it four places down to number seven, and former number one Prototype also drops six places to number eight following a 34 per cent sales reduction.

Wii Fit and UFC 2009: Undisputed each stay rooted to the same positions as last week, at number four and number five respectively.

As Roger Federer barely wins the men's final and signifies the drawing to an end of this year's Wimbledon, Sega's Virtua Tennis 2009 remains in the top 10 at number nine with a sales increase of eight per cent, and EA's Grand Slam Tennis holds on to its number eleven position.
