Ex GRIN team reform as Might and Delight

Bionic Commando Rearmed team hope to remake more retro games

The team behind GRIN's Bionic Commando Rearmed have reformed as Might and Delight, with plans to recreate older titles for new audiences.

According to the developer's new website, after working on the digital hit for GRIN, the team split, but have reformed following the studio collapsing in August 2009.

"After Grins closure in August we decided to pick up the threads and explore the wonderful collaboration that led to Rearmed," said the team.

"Its no secret that Might and Delight loves retro," it added. "We adore the delicate simplicity found in many old games. Our goal is to create experiences that looks to that simplicity while providing something fresh and accessible."

The studio is currently pitching to prospective partners, and hopes its previous work, which scored a Metacritc rating of over 85 per cent on three platforms, will help start collaborations.

"Our main goal is to continue creating remakes of classic games, so we can't really start working on a title until we have the publisher/IP-owner on board. We'll be courting various publishers for a chance to transform their classics, and we can only hope that they're as enthusiastic about Bionic Commando Rearmed and our team as all the people who have emailed us seem to be."
