EVE developer opens US office

Plans to hire over 100 in next 12 months

EVE Online developer CCP has opened its first US office in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

And the company is looking to hire over 100 new staff over the next 12 months as it continues to expand outside its native Iceland.

"CCP Games is excited to be at the epicentre of the US online gaming industry," offered Mike Tinney, president of CCP North America.

"Following the merger of CCP Games and White Wolf Publishing last year, we look forward to expanding our CCP North American team and player base over the course of this year."

CCP will now join the first Southern Interactive Entertainment and Gaming Expo (SIEGE) taking place October 5 — 7 in Atlanta.

"GamesIndustry.biz is one of my starting tabs when I boot up... so it's always one of the first sites I see each day. It's good being able to catch up with what's happened in the US overnight, and in the UK before I'm awake first thing, and know that the stories will be accurate and thought out."
