Eurogamer expands into Portugal

The Eurogamer Network, publisher of GamesIndustry.biz and Eurogamer.net, has announced its latest expansion with the website Eurogamer Portugal.

The site is published in partnership with LusoPlay, launched by Tiago Silva in 2006.

"I'm really happy to be part of Eurogamer. It has always been my favourite videogames website and it is regarded as one of the most important videogames websites around world," commented Silva.

"It's a pleasure to join the family. We are planning to make Eurogamer the best Portuguese-language videogames website ever."

Eurogamer is currently rolling out its first pan-European ad campaigns across the network, and has plans for more European-specific sites later this year.

The new website is now live at eurogamer.pt

GamesIndustry.biz is the world's most read and influential games industry website. But don't just take our word for it!

"I check GamesIndustry.biz every day — you have to, to know what's going on. It's definitely the best European news site, and is beginning to offer a more global view too. There's a ton of information and news on the net — but this is the one that matters."
