EIF details new session on arcades

The Edinburgh Interactive Festival has announced that the founder and director of KWP, Kevin Williams, will be chairing a session entitled Arcade Amusements Get Wired, at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre over August 10-12.

During the 40 minute session, Williams will discuss the video amusement and attraction industry and the importance of its development in shaping UK gaming culture.

"I am greatly honoured to be given the opportunity to address such a varied and informed audience. I look forward to describing the innovation and variety of my usually secretive industry, and prove the opportunity that 'unachievable@Home' gaming can offer," said Kevin Williams.

GamesIndustry.biz is the world's most read and influential games industry website. But don't just take our word for it!

"GamesIndustry.biz is one of my starting tabs when I boot up... so it's always one of the first sites I see each day. It's good being able to catch up with what's happened in the US overnight, and in the UK before I'm awake first thing, and know that the stories will be accurate and thought out."
