Eidos moves £3 million ad account to Manning Gottlieb

Tomb Raider publisher Eidos has appointed Manning Gottlieb OMD to handle its UK media business worth GBP 3 million.

Manning Gottlieb picked up the account from MPG, which resigned the business back in June, according to Brand Republic. The company has previously worked with Sony on its PlayStation 2 marketing campaigns.

"I'm certain that Manning Gottlieb OMD's media planning and buying expertise is going to help make the likes of Tomb Raider: Underworld hugely successful," commented Jon Brooke, head of UK marketing for Eidos.

Earlier this year, adverts for Eidos' Kane & Lynch: Dead Men were banned in the UK after receiving complaints about the depiction of violence towards women.
