EA's Tsunoda joins Microsoft

Will be project lead for an upcoming Gears of War title

Former Electronic Arts executive Kudo Tsunoda has left the company to join Microsoft.

Tsunoda produced Def Jam Icon and Fight Night at EA and was working on a Marvel Comics-based fighting game at the company's Chicago development studio when it was closed last November.

According to a GameTap report, Tsunoda will be reunited at Microsoft with former EA Vancouver colleague Don Mattrick.

Tsunoda will now report to Mattrick as a General Manager and will be the project lead on an upcoming Gears Of War title.
