Chief creative director confirmed for event in San Francisco this month

Electronic Arts' chief creative director Richard Hilleman is to keynote the Unite Conference, taking place October 27-30 in San Francisco.

Hilleman will address new users, new devices and new ways of playing videogames, at the annual conference based around the Unity development platform.

"It’s fantastic that we’re able to attract people of Richard’s caliber," commented Nicholas Francis, chief creative officer of Unity. "With Electronic Arts getting more involved in web-based games, he is one of the people who have a great overview of how the landscape looks and what new opportunities there are."

The conference will also feature master classes, details of the future of the platform and sessions from the Unity team.
