EA to sponsor Vancouver International Game Summit

Electronic Arts is to become the title sponsor of the second Vancouver International Game Summit, taking place May 20 – 22, 2008.

Expected to attract over 1000 participants, this year's event will include speakers such as Naughty Dog co-founder Jason Rubin, Microsoft's Shane Kim, and EA's product manager for animation Athomas Goldberg.

"We are thrilled to have Electronic Arts as our title sponsor again this year, and by the calibre of all our presenters, sponsors and partners that have come on board for this year's International Game Summit," commented Howard Donaldson, Summit co-chair and vice-president of Disney Interactive Studios.

"Vancouver is a world-class city and we are producing some of the world's best video games. It's only fitting that we host a first-rate industry event."
