EA sets release date for Spore
Highly-anticipated title due in September
Electronic Arts and Maxis have set a release date for the highly-anticipated title Spore, the latest from The Sims creator Will Wright.
The title is due for a worldwide release on the weekend of September 7, for PC, DS, Macintosh and mobile phones.
"The wait is almost over," commented Will Wright, chief designer for Maxis.
"We're in our final stages of testing and polish with Spore, and the team at Maxis can't wait to see the cosmos of content created by the community later this year."
