EA appoints Eric Brown as new CFO

Electronic Arts has appointed Eric Brown as the company's new Chief Financial Officer and EVP effective April 14

Electronic Arts has announced the appointment of Eric Brown as the company's new Chief Financial Officer and EVP effective April 14.

A former EA executive, Brown rejoins the company from McAfee Inc. where he has served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

"Eric's strong financial background, broad international experience and industry knowledge makes him a perfect fit for EA," said CEO John Riccitiello.

"Eric is a highly-regarded CFO, and we are looking forward to having him join our team."

Brown held management positions at DataSage Inc. and the Haagen-Das Company prior to becoming COO of EA's Redwood Shores Studio. After leaving EA, the served as president and CFO of MicroStrategy and then joined McAfee.

"I am thrilled to return to EA where I can bring together my professional experience with my passion for the industry," Brown said. "It's a great opportunity to join EA at this pivotal time and support the company's growth initiatives in the years ahead."
