EA adds its support to PlayStation Home

EA Sports Complex to "rich new online environment" and launch later this Spring

EA has announced that it is planning to launch an EA Sports Complex within the PlayStation Home environment later this Spring.

The zone, intended to support both core and casual gamers, will include new multiplayer games exclusive to Home, as well as view online rankings, trailers and additional content from other EA Sports titles.

"We're proud to support the PlayStation Home beta with a very robust offering from EA Sports," said Peter Moore, president of the label. "As part of our continued commitment to the connected experience and the digitization of our business, the EA Sports Complex is a rich new online environment that presents a compelling and immersive social gaming experience for the global sports audience."

EA is also planning further label support for PlayStation Home, although no details on those plans will be supplied just yet.
