DDM acquires Peligroso Entertainment Group

Digital Development Management has acquired Swedish video game representation agency Peligroso Entertainment Group.

Both companies are in the business of representing independent game development companies to publishers around the world by securing funds for their clients' game concepts and providing contract services.

DDM's roster of clients includes Ninja Theory, Bugbear Entertainment and Zombie Studios.

"This acquisition increases DDM's international presence while allowing us to provide an unmatched range of business development and support services for our clients," said DDM president Joe Minton.

"This demonstrated that the Nordic region is not only very strong in game development but that the region also has people with long experience and understanding of the business-side of the industry," said Sten Selander, executive director of Peligroso's board.

The acquisition will be effective May 5, 2008. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

DDM plans to open an office in Stockholm.
