Dawn of War holds top spot in US

THQ title breaks Activision and EA stranglehold on charts

THQs Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II is the best-selling PC game in the US for the second week running.

The game beat off chart stalwarts World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King The Sims 2: Double Deluxe for the top spot.

Apart from Spore at number seven, The Sims and Warcraft expansions took up the rest of the top ten.

The full list, proved by NPD, follows:

  • 03 The Sims 2: Double Deluxe

  • 05 World of Warcraft

  • 10 World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade
