Dale returns to Rockstar as COO

Former Capcom Europe MD makes a move

Former Rockstar executive Gary Dale has rejoined the company as chief operating officer, having left his post as European MD of Capcom.

Dale became president of BMG's interactive and software and video division in 1994 and remained there until Take-Two aquired the company in March 1998. During his time with Take-Two he oversaw the release of more than 30 titles including the original Grand Theft Auto.

Dale moved to Capcom Europe in 2003 but is now returning to the Rockstar fold, effective from today.

"Having been involved in the formation of what later became Rockstar Games, I am now thrilled to become a member of the team at such an exciting time," Dale commented.

"I look forward to helping Rockstar Games continue to define the interactive entertainment landscape in the next-generation era."

Rockstar founder Sam Houser added, "Based on our long history of working together, Gary has a deep understanding of our mission to create compelling games that will propel interactive entertainment to the center of the entertainment industry."
