Capcom has announced the appointment of Mona Hamilton as the company's vice president of marketing.

Hamilton will oversee all elements of marketing for Capcom in North America, including product marketing, creative services and communications. She joins the company from Midway, where she also served as vice president of marketing and previously worked with Ubisoft as group brand manager.

"Mona and I have worked together successfully in the past and I'm pleased to welcome the addition of her management style and marketing perspective to the group here at Capcom," said Mark Beaumont, chief operating officer and head of Capcom consumer software publishing in the Americas and Europe.

"Capcom has a number of high profile titles coming and her skill set will bring a critical level of organization and creativity to help support the company's corporate goals."
