Call of Atlantis

Press Release PROVIDED BY GAMES PRESS

- Playrix Entertainment, a successful developer of such hits as Fishdom and 4 Elements, today announced the release of its brand new much-anticipated sequel to Atlantis Quest and The Rise of Atlantis titled Call of Atlantis. A combination of Match-3, Hidden Object and Adventure, Call of Atlantis will take players on a fascinating journey around the ancient lands of the Mediterranean to acquire seven mysterious crystals of power able to restore the Altar of Poseidon and save the fabled sunken city of Atlantis. The game is now available exclusively via Web download from: www.playrix.com, while the official universal launch is scheduled for November 26, 2008.

"Creating this game we challenged ourselves to smoothly blend the hidden object game play with match-3 and top it with a captivating adventure story," said Igor Bukhman, Playrix’s COO and co-founder. "Our team was buoyed by enthusiasm from the unprecedented success of The Rise of Atlantis that has been in top ten charts since its release in March of 2007. Working on its "younger brother", we were committed to add some dazzling new twists, stunning visual effects and brain-teasing puzzles peppered with elaborately rendered graphics."

Casual Review's take in their preview of the game: "There are 66 levels of fun with unlimited play. Couple those with the highly-detailed artwork and animation that Playrix is known for, plus a screensaver of your favorite scenes, and it looks like Call of Atlantis is going to be another hit."

A free trial version of Call of Atlantis can be downloaded from the developer's web site:
