BlueBay increases Infogrames holding

Asset management company now owns over 25 per cent of publisher

Following on from Infogrames Entertainment's statement earlier in the week that its EUR 150 million convertible bond was fully subscribed, it has now emerged that BlueBay Asset Management has increased its stake in the company to more than 25 per cent.

According to a report on ABC Money filed by Thomson Financial, Bluebay held 25.72 per cent of capital and 25.64 per cent of voting rights as of December 20 - that represents over 330 million shares, with warrants to buy almost 132 million more.

BlueBay has also underwritten the convertible bond.

Infogrames' share price has fluctuated between EUR 0.12 and EUR 0.14 this week, and currently rests on the higher of the two, effectively its highest point since the middle of November.
