Battlefield Heroes beta live once again
EA DICE has announced that the beta for its free-to-play shooter, Battlefield: Heroes, is once again underway.
Previous beta testers, as well as new applicants, have been asked to return to the online game with increased functionality.
Among the new features includes a system for virtual currency, in-game rewards, character customisation, as well as tweaks to the gameplay with improved hit detection and improved class balance.
Last year, DICE announced that it was to close down the beta to focus on the back end of the service, after having previously told GamesIndustry.biz that the title was effectively "already out".
