Atari titles now available via Steam
Nine titles debut today; The Witcher coming soon
Atari Inc. and Valve have announced an agreement to bring a variety of PC games from the Atari catalog to the Steam delivery platform.
Starting today, North American users will be able to add nine Atari titles to their Steam games library, including Act of War, Indigo Prophecy, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Atari 80 Classics in One.
"Atari is excited to team up with Steam and deliver great games through a digital platform that our fans have asked for," said Nizzi Renaud, VP of online entertainment for Atari, Inc.
"We look forward to making an extensive collection of games, across many genres, available to Steam's extensive, globally-connected community."
The company announced that The Witcher, NeverWinter Nights 2 and NeverWinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer will be added to Atari's Steam lineup in the coming weeks.
