Ancient Quest of Saqqarah

September 4, 2008 – Independent studio Codeminion launches Monkey Monarchs - the first SaqPack expansion to their highly successful puzzle game Ancient Quest of Saqqarah.
Monkey Monarchs expands on the already feature-rich Saqqarah with a set of 504 new levels, effectively doubling the original 50 hour length of the game. The first SaqPack, as developers call the add-on, also includes additional gameplay music, extra graphics and new ranks for players to gain.
“Saqqarah is a very large game with many different gameplay types. Lots of thought went into creating hundreds of unique levels that would be fun as well as challenging to play. Coming with another full set of levels for the expansion wasn’t an easy task, but I’m happy to say that we’re very proud of the outcome. The levels are aesthetically distinct and offer new challenges that Saqqarah fans will surely appreciate” – says Tom Grochowiak, game designer at Codeminion.
Monkey Monarchs are available for digital purchase from Saqqarah’s official website – www.saqqarahthegame.com at the price of $9.99 for both PC and Mac. Full copy of the original Ancient Quest of Saqqarah is required to run the expansion.
