Amazon acquires casual portal Reflexive

Reflexive Entertainment, the online casual videogames portal, has announced that it has been acquired by Amazon.

In a blog post on the website, Reflexive CEO Lars Brubaker, spoke of the "exciting" opportunities to expand its distribution through Amazon, as well as promising developers that its games submission service would remain intact.

"As I'm sure you can all imagine this is a very exciting day for us at Reflexive," Brubaker commented. "It means we'll be able to expand our distribution network to include Amazon's amazing distribution channel. With Amazon we will bring a huge new group of customers into play."

"What this means for all you developers is that it's time to get excited about your future with Reflexive," he added. "All of the features that you know and love about GameCenterSolution will still be available to you now and in the future, and you can continue to submit games through the Reflexive site."

"We look forward to continuing our commitment to offering a broad selection of casual games for customers and to providing the best support to all our partners. We are unbelievably excited to continue working to enhance the online casual gaming experience, for both gamers and game developers," Brubaker further commented.
