Activision appoints new European MD

Thibaud de Saint-Quentin replaces Joerg Trouvain in key Euro market

Activision has appointed Thibaud de Saint-Quentin as the new senior vice president and managing director of European publishing.

de Saint-Quentin joins the company from Kraft Foods and will oversee the company's Euro marketing and sales activities.

"The European market is critical to our continued profitable growth plans and we're delighted to have a talent of Thibaud's calibre on board to guide the organisation to even higher levels of success," said Brian Hodous, chief customer officer.

"His leadership will be instrumental in the success of the company in Europe and I very much look forward to working with him in the coming years to further enhance our commercial agenda."

de Saint-Quentin will be based in the UK and replaces Joerg Trouvain who is leaving the company for personal reasons.

"I'm very proud to take up this new role at Activision Blizzard," offered de Saint-Quentin.

"The gaming industry and Activision Blizzard in particular is an incredibly exciting business to be a part of and I'm looking forward to joining the team and leading Europe forward to the next level of growth."
