Former Zynga CMO joins Twitch

Doug Scott takes on same title with streaming site

Former Zynga CMO Doug Scott has joined streaming site Twitch in the same role.

In addition to three years at Zynga, Scott has also been an advisor at Twitch competitor YouTube for YouTube Music, the CMO at BandPage, and has held multiple VP roles at DeNA and Electronic Arts.

"Doug has deep experience extending brands into new markets across games and entertainment industries, making him the ideal fit to lead Twitch's marketing strategy," said Twitch COO Sara Clemens. "As Twitch continues to grow, Doug will play an integral role in extending the brand beyond endemic audiences, supporting our incredible creators and expanding our presence in global markets."

Scott is one of several recent upper-level hires at Twitch, including Sarah Iooss as head of North American sales and Dan Clancy as executive VP of creator and community experience.
