PUBG Mobile reaches 200 million downloads

Fortnite hit 200 million milestone across all platforms last month

PUBG Mobile now appears to have almost as many, if not more registered users than Fortnite does aross console, PC, and mobile. The game reached the 200 million download milestone sometime recently.

PUBG Corporation told The Verge the number today, also mentioning that the game has around 30 million daily active users (excluding China).

By comparison, Fortnite reached 200 million downloads across all platforms on November 26, as reported by Bloomberg. It's likely that Fortnite's mobile-only endeavor is trailing PUBG Mobile due to a later release on iOS and Android and possibly also due to it skipping Google Play in favor of a direct download from Epic Games.

The PUBG Mobile figure also does not include the game's users in China.

CORRECTION: This article previously reported downloads as registered users. This has been corrected.
