GamesIndustry.quiz debuts this month

Have you signed up for our inaugural industry trivia contest? It will run alongside EGX Rezzed on March 31st

We're hosting a brand new pub quiz for developers, publishers, games journalists and more, and it kicks off in just a weeks.

The GamesIndustry.quiz (yes, we're still unjustifiably proud of the name) will be held at The Captain Kidd pub on London's Wapping High St, starting at 7.30pm on Friday, March 31st. The pub is just a short walk from Tobacco Dock, where EGX Rezzed 2017 will take place.

The quiz is open to all members of the games industry. Tickets cost £25 per head, with openings for teams of up to five people. To book your place or find out more about sponsorship opportunities, contact Charlotte.Nangle@gamer-network.net.

Teams will be challenged with multiple rounds of trivia covering current affairs, general knowledge, pop culture, some more obscure but yet to be decided topics, and (of course) video games. Drinks will also be available for those whose intellect is fuelled by alcohol.

The GamesIndustry.quiz is just one of the many activities we have running around EGX Rezzed. In addition to the improved GamesIndustry.biz Careers Fair, we're organising a brand new event called Meet The Indies at Rezzed, where publishers, services companies and more will have the chance to secure private meetings with up-and-coming developers. Nintendo and Sega are among the companies already signed up to meet indies at the event.

EGX Rezzed will also feature the debut of the GamesIndustry.biz Magazine, which will feature the results of our recent careers survey and the GamesIndustry.biz 100: UK's Most Influential, a list of the biggest figureheads in the UK games industry. Many of the people listed will also be attending the GamesIndustry.biz 100 Party on Thursday, March 30th.
