ESA adds three new members

Nordic Games, Technicolor and Pop Up Gaming have joined the US industry trade group

The Entertainment Software Association announced today that it's added three more members to its ranks. Nordic Games, Pop Up Gaming (PUG), and Technicolor are the newest members, bringing ESA membership to 36 companies total.

Vienna, Austria-based Nordic Games oversees IP like Darksiders, MX vs. ATV, Red Faction, Titan Quest, The Guild, and SpellForce. Pop Up Gaming is lesser known but aims to offer experiences "marrying social interaction with immersive virtual reality into 'theatrical gaming.'" Technicolor collaborates with other top game companies on projects like FIFA 16, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and EA Sports UFC 2.

"Our newest members exemplify our creative and dynamic industry," said Michael D. Gallagher, president and CEO of ESA. "Nordic Games, Pop Up Gaming and Technicolor will bring additional expertise and insights into the ways games drive innovation and engagement, not only in entertainment software, but across sectors. We look forward to working with these proven leaders to inform technology and video game policy, and continue to propel our industry forward."

"The ESA has done a terrific job of assembling game industry leaders and the companies they represent in an effort to continuously shape and promote the video and computer game industry," added Lars Wingefors, CEO, Nordic Games. "As an ESA member, Nordic Games looks forward to contributing to important policy issues, as well as driving growth for our ever-expanding industry."
