New head of PR for InnoGames

Peter Meyenburg joins studio

Forge of Empires studio InnoGames has a new head of public relations. Peter Meyenburg, former EMEA Corporate PR Lead at Rakuten, has been appointed to the role.

"Peter has a great deal of experience working across western markets. InnoGames always has been, and will continue to be, a very internationally focused company, which will benefit greatly from Peter's deep cultural knowledge. I am confident he is the right spokesperson to represent us and am looking forward to working closely together," said CMO Christian Pern.

In February, the German studio reported a revenue of €100 million in 2015, a 25 percent growth on the previous year.

"I plan to put a high priority on further increasing InnoGames brand awareness internationally. This will be important to continuing the company's reputation for high-quality business partnerships and as an attractive place to work. I also look forward to leading the launch communication of several interesting mobile projects in the pipeline right now," said Meyenburg.

InnoGames has around 150 million registered players globally.
