New CFO for InnoGames

Markus Lipp replaces Armin Busen

Hamburg based InnoGames has a new chief financial officer in the form of Markus Lipp, formerly the CFO of ProSiebenSat1's 7travel.

"I am very excited to work at a dynamic and growing company with a young, international team. What is especially attractive to me, is remaining part of the games industry and to help shape its future," he said in a statement.

In his career Lipp has also founded shopping site Verspieltes.de and worked with SevenOne Intermedia.

He replaces Armin Busen, who is now the chief product officer at InnoGames.

"As an industry veteran and expert in finances with years of experience, Markus Lipp will be an excellent addition to our management. We are looking forward to having him on board and working with him in the future," added CEO Hendrik Klindworth.

Last year the Forge of Empires studio revealed it earned $100 million in revenue in its fiscal 2014.
