BAFTA Scotland launches New Talent search

Deadline for entries 19 January

The deadline to enter The British Academy Scotland New Talent Awards is fast approaching, and has a category for up and coming game developers.

"BAFTA Scotland is dedicated to nurturing the incredible amount of new and emerging talent across the moving image industries," said director of BAFTA Scotland Jude MacLaverty.

"Last year we had a fantastic response to entries and our Acting Performance award went to an actress with no prior training, showing there's scope for any talent to win, regardless of experience. The quality and diversity of entries continues to impress us and we can't wait to see what the 2015 awards will unveil."

The entry fee is £30 and the closing date for entries is January 19 at 5pm UK time. Entry is online via the BAFTA Entry Platform.

This year's ceremony takes place in Glasgow on April 9.
