No Man's Sky dev among first speakers at DICE 2015
Initial lineup includes Sean Murray, Ru Weerasuriya, Tracy Fullerton and Tom Kalinske
The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, which puts on the annual D.I.C.E. Summit, has announced that registration is now open for the 2015 event, and the first wave of speakers has been revealed.
Headlining the talks at next year's D.I.C.E. are Hello Games' Sean Murray (currently working on No Man's Sky), Ready at Dawn boss Ru Weerasuriya (working on PS4 exclusive The Order: 1886), Tracy Fullerton, associate professor and chair of the Interactive Media & Games Division of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, and Tom Kalinske, Executive Chairman and co-founder of Global Education Learning and vice chairman of Leapfrog.
D.I.C.E. 2015 will explore the theme of "Without Borders," said Martin Rae, president, AIAS: "This theme kicked off at D.I.C.E. Europe in September as a starting point for discussion of the industry's expanding culture, a culture that is seeing past barriers dissipate as we continue rapid growth and evolution. Our speakers will bring their own interpretation of this theme, focusing on the expanding opportunities for the interactive entertainment industry with an eye towards the global marketplace, technology, creativity, emerging markets, diversity, and more."
The event will take place February 3-5, 2015, at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and will close with the 18th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards.
