Journey, The Walking Dead lead BAFTA nominations

Telltale Games' The Walking Dead and thatgamecompany's Journey will lead the field at this year's British Academy Games Awards.

Journey and The Walking Dead were nominated for eight and seven awards respectively, including Best Game, Game Design, Story and Original Music. Journey was also recognised for Artistic Achievement, Audio Achievement, Game Innovation and Online Multiplayer, while The Walking Dead received nods for Mobile & Handheld and the performances of its two lead voice actors.

Other high achievers included Ubisoft's Far Cry 3 with six nominations, The Chinese Room's Dear Esther with five nominations, and Fireproof Games' mobile hit The Room with four nominations.
