Journey & Dishonored lead 2013 Game Developers Choice Awards

Journey takes six nominations in 13th annual awards

The organizers of the 13th annual Game Developers Choice Awards have announced the final list of nominees. Thatgamecompany's Journey is the clear frontrunner with six nominations, including Best Design, Best Downloadable Game, Best Audio, Best Visual, Innovation and Game of the Year. Arkane Studios' Dishonored comes in a close second place with four nominations, including Best Narrative, Best Visual, Best Design and Game of the Year.

There are also four Special Awards that have yet to be announced. The first three are the Pioneer, Ambassador and Lifetime Achievement awards, whose winners will be announced in the future. The last award is the Audience Award, which will open to an online vote in February. The rest of the winners will be selected by the International Choice Awards Network and revealed at the award ceremony on March 27 at the Moscone Convention Center during the 2013 Game Developers Conference.
