Corsair acquires Raptor Gaming

Corsair - best know for its high-speed RAM and PC gaming component manufacture - has acquired PC peripheral company Raptor for an undisclosed amount.

Raptor's product line is especially strong in Germany - Europe's strongest PC gaming market. Raptor itself is based in Germany, in the town of Heinsberg.

"As gamers ourselves, we formed the Raptor Gaming business to create high-performance PC gear to give gamers the absolute best gaming experience," said Raptor CEO Dirk Schunk, who will remain with the company.

"Corsair's strong global brand and worldwide distribution will open up Raptor Gaming products to a wider audience of gamers around the world."
