Robert Bowling's Robotoki will be supporting the open-source console

In a Kickstarter update, the Ouya team has announced the first exclusive game for the console: a prequel to Robotoki's upcoming zombie-apocalypse title Human Element. Former Infinity Ward creative strategist and Robotoki president Robert Bowling personally donated $10,000 to the Ouya Kickstarter.

The Ouya version of Human Element will be an episodic series leading up to the planned release of the full title in 2015.

"What this allows us to do - because Ouya has been so accessible - we able to bring you a look at the world of Human Element, a month, a week, a year after the events of the game. We're going to work with the Ouya team and bring you an exclusive episodic look of the world as it develops and collapses over the course of the event happening," said Bowling in a video on the Kickstarter page.

A bit pre-emptive there Mr Bowling/Ouya-team? If I have understood this Ouya thing correctly, its in the process of searching for funding which in my mind doesnt equal a launch of a console and already they are pre-launching titles/episodes for it.

Aleksi, that information is not correct. Ouya remains controversial and questionable as to whether it will succeed long term, but they already have more than enough money to get their first batch of consoles out ($5.2mil and counting), a capable team, a prototype, and a project plan for getting the first 90,000 consoles out in March next year.

I have yet to see a working prototype. Again I might be mistaken but what has been shown to the general public atleast, is a concept of what the console might/will be like, not an actual manufactured prototype?

This is just picking at minor details but getting 100K consoles out in March next year with 5million in funding with just a concept at this stage seems to me as huge stretch.

Again, just please correct me if my thinking here is totally wrong.
