GameStop PC App gets game discovery upgrade

The new Discover tab helps users find new PC games

GameStop has updated its PC App to add a new Discover tab. The tab integrates GameStop's 1,700-strong catalog of PC game downloads, Kongregate's browser game library, and editorial content from Game Informer under a single tab.

"Gamers want to explore new titles and experiences in refreshing, fun ways," said David Adams, GameStop's Vice President of Online Technology. "We are finding this visually driven approach to be addictive... similar to gameplay itself and we are really excited about launching this beta!"

The tab remains in beta as GameStop tweaks it to provide more relevant options for consumers.

Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
