Former Codemasters VP launches Caperfly at Develop

A new studio, headed up by Gavin Cheshire, former VP of development at Codemasters, has announced its launch at Develop in Brighton.

Caperfly is based in Leamington Spa and is also employing Bryan Marshall, previously in charge of tech at Codemasters, as COO and CTO.

"We are building a team of people with a strong reputation for delivering triple A titles and commercial success," said Cheshire. "We aim to repeat that success in a different market environment. I am extremely confident that we have the experience to achieve more, with an initial focus on publishing in the mobile gaming sector."

The studio will focus on mobile development and smart TV titles.
